We’re just back from a Painting Workshop with Harry Feeney at the Foxford Lodge – would highly recommend it.
I travelled with my daughter and we were delighted with the experience.
We had beautiful accommodation and gorgeous home cooked breakfast, lunches and dinners. We didn’t want to go home!!!
We looked forward to each meal as well as the painting tuition!
Harry and Brigid are great hosts and made us feel really welcome.
We even had a tour on a bus and visited the shops and museum.
The painting workshop was a great success and we both managed to paint 4 beautiful pictures.
Thank you so much for a great experience and we look forward to a return visit in the future!

We’re just back fom a Painting workshop with Harry Feeney at the Foxford Lodge and as a group, we are stunned by the experience. We had beautiful accomodation and gorgeous home cooked breakfast and lunches that were all part of the package. Brigid’s apple crumble defies description. We looked forward to each meal. Harry and Brigid are great hosts and made us feel really welcome. Harry even took us on a tour of the local beauty spots and we had to admit that they are unsurpassed anywhere. The painting workshop was a brilliant success, and even two new members who had never painted before produced beautiful paintings. Thank you very much Harry for your patience and good humour, and thank you to all the Feeney family for your welcome. We will definitely make a return visit.
Thank you Harry, we both had a fantastic day at our private class in the Foxford Studio. We loved the session and your hospitality .Health and Happiness to you all.
Realising my need to learn the basics of watercolour painting, I attended a workshop with Harry in Waterford. The effortlessness with which I seemed to learn new techniques was, of course, due to his talent as a teacher. After the two days I felt that maybe I might become “an artist” – someday. Since then I have painted many pictures, with varying degrees of success. Again and again, the better parts show echoes of that workshop in Dungarvan –
At the ripe age of 69 I finally bit the bullet and followed my life-long dream of trying my hand at painting. I joined Harry’s workshop in his new Foxford Studio. What a weekend! From the relaxed and fun learning environment, to Harry’s easy-going style, and the wonderful lunches – I had a relaxing, educating and fun weekend. I made new friends and more importantly, I brought home 4 paintings that my adult children are now fighting over the ownership rights to!! Thank you Harry – I will be back! –
I have just finished the 6 week class (2 hours each week) and everything was lovely. It was a really enjoyable experience and has brought a lot of joy to my life. Thank you so much.
